In 2021, we made a trade with Reptisnack, exchanging our African fat-tailed gecko for Aries, a day gecko. Our decision was based on the fact that our new friend was seeking a more sociable pet, while, at the time, we were looking for something unique that required less attention.

Aries has quickly become a beloved addition to our household, residing in our living room and serving as a captivating showcase. It’s important to note that day geckos, like Aries, are not recommended to be handled due to their speed and agility, making it challenging to catch them if they were to escape.

Aries seems to relish in exploring his bioactive terrarium and asserting his dominance over our other pets as they move about. His favorite treats include honey and crickets, which he eagerly devours. Overall, Aries has brought a new dynamic to our home with his unique personality and behaviors.
