Meet Apollo

In 2022, we were fortunate enough to welcome Apollo, our bearded dragon, into our lives after connecting with someone on Facebook who was desperately seeking a loving home for him. When Apollo first arrived, he was quite underweight and visibly distraught, surviving solely on a diet of crickets. It took a considerable amount of time and effort to help him feel secure and introduce a wider range of foods for him to enjoy. Even now, Apollo requires specific care as he tends to become easily upset. To ensure his well-being, we have found that he thrives best when given the opportunity to roam freely by himself, with minimal human interaction, for no longer than 30 minutes at a time. As for his favorite treats, Apollo absolutely adores green beans, strawberries, and various types of bugs.
