Meet Hades

Being a dedicated fan of the Komodo Dragon, we embarked on a quest to find a creature that was similar in nature but less hazardous and more compact in size. We were thrilled to learn about tegus and we knew instantly that we needed to add one to our collection. In the year 2022, just before our relocation from Georgia to Minnesota, we welcomed Hades into our lives after acquiring him from a local family-owned establishment, now known as Pets and Supplies, which we frequently visited. Hades has truly been a remarkable addition to our group, bringing a unique charm and personality of his own.

Despite enjoying occasional attention, Hades has a knack for wandering around as if he is the ruler of his domain. Similar to a feline, his moods can be quite unpredictable, adding an element of excitement to our daily interactions with him. He relishes basking in warm water and exploring forbidden territories, displaying a mischievous streak that keeps us on our toes.
